COVID-19

At Sandia Peak Dental, we put great emphasis on your health and safety. During this COVID-19 situation, we always try our best to follow the specified safety and sanitation protocols mandated by the World Health Organization. We are constantly adjusting and updating our approaches and policies to ensure the well-being of every patient during their office visit.

Our Office Sanitization Approach

Safety and cleanliness have always been focus areas at Sandia Peak Dental. In these challenging times, we are doing everything in our capacity to make our office environment safe and secure for our patients. To enforce the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation, we follow the regulations and recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the American Dental Association (ADA).

After each patient leaves our dental office, our housekeeping staff will meticulously clean all surfaces, objects, and instruments that may have been used or touched during their stay.

Patient Safety

Our primary focus is to ensure the safety of our patients during their office visits. Our entire working staff wears personal protective equipment (PPE) sets comprising face shields, masks, and gloves. We wash our hands regularly with antiseptic soap and frequently sanitize the surfaces of our office utilities.

While performing the procedures, we try to use disposable materials and tools to reduce the possibilities of infections and contaminations as much as possible. In the case of specialized dental instruments, we use chemical disinfectants to sterilize them after every use.
